Put your best voice forward. Your voice is part of your appearance. It’s your AUDIBLE BUSINESS CARD. Your VOICE plays a large role in how you are perceived & significantly impacts your CONNECTION with others. Effective communication depends not only on what you say, but also on HOW YOU SOUND. Your voice creates a picture in the listener’s mind. It represents YOU. It leaves an impression, & often even before someone can put a face with your name (when communicating via phone or through audio text, etc.). Consider the impression you can make with your VOICE. The other day I heard someone say, “you could HEAR so much JOY in his VOICE”. How cool is that? The voice is an incredible way to SHARE yourself with others. Your words are less important than how they are delivered, the message you are sending, & the ENERGY & FEELING behind that message. What feelings & emotions do you want YOUR voice to exude to others? Yes, your ENERGY introduces you before you even speak, BUT what you exude, others inhale—and your VOICE is a wonderful vehicle to exude feelings, emotions, yourself, & your MISSION.

If you are a doctor entrusted with the health & care of your patients, your voice should sound like it is well taken care of as this can speak to your own health & self-care. If you are leading a sales meeting, your voice should exude leadership qualities (strength, health, confidence, reliability) because the voice speaks a message separate from your words. If you are leading a fitness class, your voice should sound FIT as it’s important for clients to hear an alignment between body, voice, & mission. And it’s really important your voice is healthy enough to exude the energy & love you want it to exude out to others so that you can make the IMPACT you were created to make!
